I just hope that it's an immediate rematch as in Montiel's next fight is Hozumi Hasegawa. Because I don't want Montiel to possibly lose the belt or get in a fight where people can say he is over the hill/not the same anymore.

Its hard to see your favorite fighter lose by TKO from a boxer over the hill, isnt?

He wasn't going be life threatened. Montiel would have gotten 1-2 more punches off at most. 1 being the right hand which missed every time and 1 being the left that landed every time. Then the ref steps in and Hozumi goes to his corner, gets water put on his head. Either recovers or corner stoppage.


And to say Hozumi got exposed means 1 of two things.....

1) Montiel ain't **** and is about as good as a journeyman
2) You don't know much about boxing

So if Hozumi was exposed, then you have your choice of 1 or 2. Losing to a great fighter doesn't mean your exposed, it means you loss and need to come back like real champions do.

how do you know exactly? you never know whats gonna happen... that is boxing. its a great sport but tragic at the same time

a punch or two from that position could have cause brain damage or worst case scenario death
