Overrated/Underrated Gatti?

I can promise you one thing.. GAtti will never quit and he will never stop comin.. Mayweather will probably win, but if he doesnt knock Gatti out he will be tested.. I cant believe you guys think this is going to be easy for Mayweather

I would love to see Gatti win, but Gatti is the one that needs to KO/TKO Floyd cuz he will nerver outbox him..

You know i agree wit u on every post BUT Mayweather fought out of his game againest Corley for the fans. He got paid 3.1 million for that fight and I guess he felt it was his time to brawl. Watch him vs Bruseles or Corrales and you'll get a better idea of how he will fight Gatti.

That's hilarious. Everybody loves to hate Mayweather and loves to love Gatti. Can anybody name a really good fighter that Gatti beat? Oh that's right... I forgot his best fight was against Mickey Ward. Every other really good and some good fighters whomped his a**. Gatti's only real chance to win this fight is Mayweather's overconfidence.

I think Gatti must apply pressure...ala Castillo and Jesus Chavez in order to have a chance in winning this fight. This type of fighters which I like to call pressure fighters have given Mayweather some trouble. Gatti is bigger and stronger than Mayweather and the two fighters I previously mentioned. I just don't see any other way for Gatti to win this. He must impose his size and strength on PBF. I just don't know if his mug will hold up on the counters that are sure to come back or if he will be able to wear PBF before this happens.

hmmm...Wilson Rodriguz, Gabe Ruelas, Tracy Harris Patterson twice, Terron Millet, Lenord Dorin, Gatti beat Ward w/ one hand (literally, he broke it in the forth round) Beat Branco w/ one hand (re in injured the same hand in next fight)

Cmon I dont care how suspect u think Gatti's boxing skills are you have to have some talent to outbox a person w/ one hand. I just keep remembering what said after the fourth round in Gatti/Ward III "My hand, my Hand" Then Mcgirt asks, "What do you want me to do?" Gatti replies "I gotta keep going" ... It gives me the chills everytime I see or think about that. After disgraceful quitting efforts by Abulleve, Tyson and Koysta we all know Gatti will not quit, Floyd better bring a gun to stop Gatti. even then he wont quit.

But I think now Ive come to my prediction for the fight on June 25th. Yes Gatti will be victorious, but he will make floyd QUIT!! floyd will join the ranks of tyson and Koysta...goodnight sweet prince.

but to answer the thread, fans of Gatti tend to overrate his boxing skills. Gatti is a decent boxer, not a great one , has gotten better since the Millet fight. Sisforshaq finally got something right on these forums, and it only took how many posts bro? But Gatti is underrated in his fighting skills and his puching power. Ask Leija he siad Gatti hits harder than Koysta.

If you look at the 4th round I think of the Floyd/Correly bout, Correly hit some solid punches on mayweather and nearly knocked him down. I imagine if Gatti gets that chance he will get the job done because he has more power, and although his boxing has been working for him recently, he might have the best chance just brawling with mayweather because, like I said before when Correly kept throwing punches he gave floyd some trouble. I really doubt Gatti or anyone for that matter can out box him.
