Those people are blind. This is an opinion from someone who considers himself unbiased because I am not a fan of either fighter. Though I should be a fan of both, since they both have an exciting style. I just rarely pay attention to the smaller weight classes. The biggest names I know in the smallest weight classes are Donaire and Darchinyan.

That was a good stoppage. His left arm was stuck on the ropes.

But if his arm was on the ropes keeping him up after being stunned, isn't that supposed to be ruled a knockdown?

Wasn't the ref supposed to direct Montiel to the neutral corner and start counting for Hasegawa?

Supra, your a cool dude and all but how is Hozumi exposed? Don't you think Montiel is a good fighter? How long has he been participating at 118?

So how is Hozumi exposed? What even gives you a reason to dislike Hozumi enough to say he is exposed?

Kinda ignorant and I know your better than that man.

It's because of how he got there and Montiel was on a flurry.

Hozumi loss fair and square though. I originally thought he was getting grazed but the angle I had was horrible and from a new angle I could see Montiel's left hand getting Hozumi on the button with everything.

i respect hasegawa but ****... every1 in this forum was sayin how he was gonna murk kochul (about 90% of the board).... and tbh i was kinda doubtin him to... :/
am glad he won on his home turf, and besides why didnt kochul put his WBO strap on the line? hasegawa didnt want to pay the fee?

or did kochul didnt want to put his belt on the line? and that was the reason i kinda doubted him 2 win.

i guess by me puttin that on my sig would piss his fans off lol (cause of people doubtin montiel on here)

Aight man. I know where your comming from now.

It's not that Hozumi didn't want to pay the fee. Its that the JBC doesn't recognize the WBO as a legit title so Hozumi couldn't fight for it even if he wanted to. At least not in Japan.

I have to take blame for people doubting Montiel tho. I hyped Hozumi up so hard on these boards that I guess people started watching and hopped on the bandwagon and never gave Montiel a chance. But now they all hopped off and calling Hozumi a bum and guys are throwing around the 'exposed' tag like crazy. But it's not like Montiel wasn't a great fighter to begin with ya know?

Wow one lucky punch and you guys are on this guy's nuts, not to mention he lost every second of every round up until that moment. not too long ago yall were criticizing him for barely surviving against Alejandro Valdez, a guy Hasegawa rolled in a round. Hasegawa will son him in a rematch.
