Mitchell has a very bright future and Paulie is going to have nowhere to go after he gets beat by Khan. I usually like Paulies banter and I can understand why he has responded but I think he believes he is bigger than he actually is. He got outboxed by Hatton so I imagine Khan will take him to the cleaners.

Mitchell is pretty much spot on with what he said about Khan ducking his mandatory.. If Khan dropped back down in weight, which I doubt he would do, it would be a very interesting fight.

Oh for sure, Mitchell is a good boxer. But i can't see with mitchell's frame how he could hit 140 and be effective against a naturally better fighter at that weight.
At LW it would be a good contest, but i highly doubt Khan would drop down to that weight now.

This model of Khan puts Mitchell through hell at 135 or 140, BTW. It isn't 2007/08 anymore.

Cause none of them have genuinely proven themselves to fullest and they trying to see who could front the best.

But to be real, look I don't know whats gonna happen on May 15th at MSG. Montiel's KO of Hasegawa once again reminds us that all kinds of random **** happens in that square circle. But Khan, Mitchell, etc have not proven themselves against fighters like Cotto and Hatton.

Probably because 99% of the media in this country are ignorant when it comes to the sport of boxing, and so they often ask about other British boxers because they don't have to the knowledge to talk about much else. Even if the journalist in question knows the sport, he probably also knows that 'Mitchell: I'd KO Khan' is more of an eye-catching headline to the UK publick than 'Mitchell: I'll KO Katsidis'.

The fact that Khan and Mitchell are fighting on the same night and only one division apart is also a factor.
