thanks for remininding me that this is boxing scene, where all boxers are bums when they lose.

BS, hozumi took at least 5 flush shots from a massive left hooker and was out on his feet.
he was caught up on the rope as well. similar stoppage in the corrales/castillo I war, both were proper.

              hozumi wasnt rolling with sht.

Aye, Hasegawa is no bum, he was doing very well before getting caught by Montiel, who everybody knew had a puncher's chance.

Anyways, the way Montiel set up the shot that hurt Hasegawa was beautiful though, straight right hand followed by a jab, step over and hooked off the jab. Nice stuff.
What are you talking about, Hasegawas hands where compeltely out of guard. Montiel could have kill him but thanx to the ref stop hasegwa is ok

Not really surprised. Hasegawa looked good fighting tomato cans in his home turf over the course of his career.

Hasegawa did get hit by a big hook when he was on the ropes but from the replays it looked like he was rolling under what Montiel was throwing after that and was just starting to roll his left shoulder back to avoid Montiel's right hand when it was stopped.

His hand getting caught on the ropes definitely didn't help him.
