Many on BS thought Hasegawa would win, true. However, a lot of them thought he'd just steamroll Montiel.

I won't front, I favored Hasegawa to win, but I knew Montiel would be a live dog in this one.

So what do you think about that stoppage? Im a Hasegawa fan but I cant hate on it too much because Hase's arm was caught in the ropes and he was losing his senses with every punch. He was on his way to a schooling IMO but ofcourse know one knows what couldve happened for sure I had him up 3-0...and wining the 4th until the boom was laid. Id love to see a re-match though.

Hint, if you want to see him win pick the other guy.

Hasegawa is no bum, he was KOing ppl with skill and style, no hometown decision gives you KOs. Props to Montiel that had focus again and beat a formidal foe in his homeland.

Don't fool yourself Nonito is not over-rated. He hasn't been fighting better opposition but this guy has the skills as long as his hands (especially the left hook) stays healthy. It would be a great matchup cause they both got skills. I wouldn't mind seeing Donaire against Hasegawa.
