I have said this plenty of times. Golden boy is in bed with the MGM, Arum is in bed with Jerry Jones. Arum wants the fight at Dallas stadium, Jones wants the fight at Dallas stadium, Jones is willing to pay whatever it takes to host the fight in Dallas stadium, Floyd being about the money like he is, is open to the idea of fighting at Dallas but with OST of course, but it is Schafer and Golden Boy who want to fight in the MGM because of the deal that they have. That is why Schafer skipped the meeting with Jerry Jones.
The man that matters Pac had no problem with fighting in Nevada though.

The commission will conduct a hearing in May to study the way testing works in the upcoming Mayweather-Mosley fight. An official says a program could be in place before the fall.

Now, the Nevada State Athletic Commission will consider adding a blood-testing program similar to the one Mayweather and Mosley are following.

Keith Kizer, the Nevada commission's executive director, said Thursday the commission will conduct a mid-May hearing to explore the effectiveness of the Mayweather-Mosley blood-and urine-testing program conducted by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency. USADA head Travis Tygart is expected to attend the Nevada hearing and update commissioners about progress in detecting the use of performance-enhancing Human Growth Hormone and energy boosting EPO.

Why don't you look at the date of the article? You know the thing I am talking about it was from a newer article from the article you're talking about. That article is from when the negotiations was still going.

What I am talking about was when the negotiations broke off, Pac decided to fight Clottey at las vegas at the MGM. So up to that point your article is right. However, the head of the MGM told Arum they could not give them the March 13 date because they were holding it for the purpose match up of Floyd-Malignaggi. And, Arum got irate and said Pac would never fight in Nevada again.

Won't matter. Mayweather might demand over 50 percent now, and even if he didn't I'm sure TR will make some excuse not to fight in Nevada.

Oh great, Floyd stans are on Floyd's high horse now.

But anyway, I agree that the purse will be a much bigger problem than venue. Unless Bob Arum is really that stubborn.

GB and MGM Grand will find a way to patch it up with Blob,
because there's just too much fucking money to lose.
Pac will sign up for whatever tests NSAC mandates, because
he's never really cared either way: un"managed", his reponse
to USADA style bloodletting was "just not on the day itself".

Stadium owner Jones will be assuaged with the possibility of
Pac-Floyd II at Dallas, provided TX signs onto any new NSAC
                  testing standards.

                  These things are all doable.
Even purse split can be done to avoid ego: 40-40, and 20 to
the winner (or to a charitable cause).

                  Then, everybody's happy.
(except *****s, because Pac will tax Floyd's ass).
