Who should Berto fight next? I'm sure this is a repeat topic but who cares...

    he should rematch collazo
Bertos camp says Collazo wants too much, so that fight won't happen any time soon.

Berto will most likely get a light tune up.

They aren't matching Berto that tough this early in his career.

Well gee, he's a nice guy...lets give him a million chances to be in the ring with an elite fighter only to lose consistently. Berto is honestly past the point of fighting someone of Clottey's level...I gave him the benefit of the doubt against Cotto because he took alot of brutal shots in the championship rounds and thought he was hurting and exhausted, but the Pac fight showed me that he isn't worth an HBO date.

              Collazo is a better option.

Antonio Margarito vs Clottey is probably the only fight of CLottey I'd be mildly interested in seeing

He should had. Problem is Collazo didn't take the rematch, or the fight to become Berto's mandatory. And he's moving to 154. But I sure Berto's ducking him. The fact that we hadn't heard too much from Berto at this point shows he's keeping his options open. The Adyin/Abregu winner, Cotto if he beats Foreman, and maybe Jan Zaveck are probably options, as is Vyacheslav Senchenko for the WBA interm belt. Clottey's high risk, low reward, and isn't fighting on HBO for a while. Mosley's an option as well, but he'd be fighting a dangerous opponent off a loss. Win or lose, he'd be discredit. I'd let Mosley fight Vyacheslav Senchenko to keep his belt, fight one of those other welters, then fight Mosley coming off a decent win.

Since neither of them are very good I would rather one of them have half the belts when a real talent who has the potential to be elite takes it off one of them.
Mr. Neutrality himself. At any rate Vyacheslav Senchenko has a fight lined up, so that's that. How would peeps feel about the WBC champ Alexander vs the WBC champ Berto?

Just who I was thinking, but appearently he has a fight lined up at the end of August. Berto would probably fight someone else by that time. I think he'd be perfect for Shane on the rebound. How would you feel about Berto vs Alexander? Legit opponent? Shameless fight with a 140 pounder?
