It all depends on how accustomed that particular fighter is to getting KO's. A very light hitting good boxer against a powerful unrefined fighter would produce odds none consistent with this senario, but it is rare.

I can't prove it, but I would imagine you'd have a hard time finding "pick the result" odds on that fight. These type of prop bets are usually only offered for bigger fights.

I bet all the time, every single day, Calderon if I remember was about a 5-1 favorite, but alot more payout for a KO than Mayol. Its not hard to pit examples of this, but it doesnt happen often, if Malignaggi faced a fighter with a high KO rate who he's sure to beat, you may get odds similar also.

Yeah, I bet every single day also. I also bet at one of the biggest boxing sportsbooks on the net. And as of right now, they're offering odds on 20 fights. And only offering KO/decision prop bets on one of those 20. Mayweather/Mosley.

It's very rare that you'll find a "mid level" fight offering prop bets. It happens, but not real often.

Yeah, that's the book I'm referring to. I was going to say, if a site were offering prop bets on a fight like that, it would have to be 5 dimes.

Like I said, I don't know about that particular fight, because I didn't bet on it. Anyway... My only real point is that it doesn't happen very often.

Yea and you may be right, I didnt bet on the fight, maybe they didnt have a KO prop for that one, as if anything they would have had a round prop for that fight.

The reason the odds are like this are because there is a lot of people betting for a Mayweather K.O so they had to put the odds down & hardly anybody is betting on a Mosley K.O.

If the mass was betting on a Mosley K.O, the odds would've declined already.

Yeah, definitely an over/under on the rounds.
