Yeah, this law sucks, unless your an American citizen who dies while waiting to see a doctor in the ER because the hospital is filled with undocumented illegal mexican immigrants who have recently been stabbed at a pablo cruz concert 8 miles south of Phoenix. Then this law makes sense. Arizona has a huge illegal problem. There are mexican border towns that are legitimately under no Mexican law, Mexican troops have crossed onto American territory in Arizona and took an American border guard hostage. They come to Arizona they give birth and then you cant send them back because there kids a citizen, they bring drugs over, they crowd school systems, hospitals and public services, and they are really hurting Arizona's economy, again what do you want them to do?

all due respect, you dont know what your talking about. if you have health insurance i assure you that you will be seen before anybody that dosnt, so no "american" has ever died because an illegal was in front of him. unless he didnt have insurance. believe me if an illegal has a baby in the usa, the baby is a citizen not the mother. and they will send the mother back into mexico. its been done plenty of times. plenty of women come over from the middle east and give birth to children and dont pay the bill. but you dont hear about that. as far as them hurting az economy? thank our great forefathers for the constitution which makes this type of law illegal....it will never take effect. But it is scary to think that there are so many people, even in these forums, that are ignorant or have so much hate toward others...and who would pass these types of laws or worse if they could.

If so, then what's wrong with this? I don't see descrimination if the police wanted to clean the state from illegal aliens...? Every state or country actually should have this obligation to ensures and clean up her populace from illegal stayers.

I understand if they are trying to "clean up" but what you don't understand is how a person like me (Mexican/American citizen) would feel if I was to get pulled over and searched on a regular basis. I don't think it's fair to get searched everywhere I go. How will we know this place has been completely cleaned up? When will the "cleaning up" stop? I don't want to be searched for the next 10-15 years just because I look hispanic. Think about it.

The point is that lets just say Giovanni Segura is running in a park late at night for the last jog of the day...the police actually have the right to stop him and say let me see your ID. If Micky Ward was running through the park at night, they would let him run free for the night.


I may be wrong since I'm from CA, but here if a police officer tells me "hey, come over here" I legally have the right to walk away and just keep on going. Police rely on the ignorance and ******ity of people since 1) they're the working class and are too busy worrying about **** in their lives or 2)too busy wondering if kim kardashian will lose those extra 3 pounds on that ******ed show of hers.

It'll eventually be ruled unconstitutional because the only reason Brewer (the Govenor of AZ) did it was to bascially seal the deal for a renewed term. Not to mention she has the Teabaggers and Repub's as her support now. The WBC does the most random, obscure, wtf? things in boxing and this is one of them .

They can harass you for no fucking reason that is what's wrong with it. I was born in California, I am a U.S citizen my parents came here and here legally. My Grandmother became a U.S citizen. But, I can get harass walking in Arizona because I am an Hispanic.

However, like Chicano said in the Northern part of the U.S were Illegal Canadians or illegals from Ireland, Germany etc reside... Could go to Arizona and not get harassed even though they are illegal. Why? Because, they have blond hair blue eyes...

Police have the right to stop and question people and request they provide documentation to show they are not illegas. The law is obviously being targeted at mexicans.

You are wrong here... they cannot ask for documentation solely on that reason... If they get someone for any crime (theft, assault, battery, etc), they can also ask for immigration documents.

The only Mexican fighter that can jog and fight in AZ is El Canelo because he looks white so he wouldn't be questioned about his legal status.
