This is true. Anything Cotto does good or bad is going to get criticism. This is why I think Cotto is going to be a superstar if he continues to progress in a positive way. People are already taking sides they either like him or hate him. The people who like him will watch to see if he wins and the people who hate him will watch to see if he loses. Funny how that works, and I dont see much to hate with him anyway! He seems like a decent, presentable guy OUT of the ring, along with a really good boxer while in it, so I dont get where all the hate is coming from. I'll keep watching him for sure and I'm sure many will, but for the right reasons

I agree completely. It's good to know that their are cynics and people who enjoy catastrophising everything that happens in his career because that how you know that he's got peoples attention. I've thought he was going to be an all-time great for a long time now and he hasn't let me down yet.

this is a steaming pile of bull****. i thought Cotto showed better boxing skills that i thought he had, he can be a stick and move boxer too, not just a puncher. Cotto took out a strong guy, Aby's straight right hand really hurt Cotto. i'm really impressed with his win over Abdullaev, Cotto's not just a one dimensional puncher, the kid's got the skills to be a real champion. i don't see what the **** there is to be so disappointed in Cotto when he did the best he could possibly do.
