You would think a fighter would want to be a southpaw given how much trouble they usually give orthodox fighters. But I guess it comes down to what a fighter is most comfortable with

I don't really know but base on principles . . .and my analysis that will give an advantage because you can have a very powerful jab and the weak right can maximize power generated by the swing before impact. No one has mentioned another factor. Sometimes southpaws are turned orthodox because it is easier to get fights. As you know, most slick southpaws are avoided.Comment
