It is Mayweather that needed to step up. Boxing is not just about PPVs it is about legit boxing and in this part, no one can accuse Pacquiao of being lackadaisical. If anything Mayweather is the one that needed to catch up after his quasi-hiatus for about 2 years and now making a comeback.

This part of the sports' commercialization is what will ruin it. I'd say that Pacquiao is doing fine and dandy in the sport and what we need is to bring back the ole' integrity in the sport instead of just "money, money, money"...

If anything I feel insulted that Mayweather has gone fully commercialized and doesn't care about the championships. Sure money is good but it isn't the main goal but sportsmanships and the highest ideals of boxing as a sport.

Just look at it, people ask "why did FLOYD FIGHT MARQUEZ?", IT WASNT FOR YOU DIEHARDS!!!! It was to show casual fans look how easy it is against the man that gave PACQUIAO HELL, and arguably beat him too" SO he beat the number 2 P4P. Now he's taking on the number 3 p4p (SHANE MOSLEY), the plan all along was to get PAC. That didn't happen, but if you look at it without hate you will see that mayweather in his last 2 fights is fighting the # 2, and #3 p4p boxers in the world, and wanted the # 1 in pacquiao. The fight is going to happen, thats why I noticed alot of PACQUIAO fans saying **** like even if PAC loses to floyd, he still is the best or some **** to that effect. They know that if he gets past mosley it's only a matter of time before PACQUAIO GETS TAXED. Notice how whenever team Pacquiao minds their own business Floyd talks a bunch of smack about how scared Pacquiao is of him and how simple it would be to make the fight.

But now that Pacquiao has been talking about the floyd fight still being his main goal and biggest possibility the past couple of days.....floyd throws out another roadblock.

I mean business is business but cmon.....really???

If you were known for making and grossing and taking home the highest wages, would you wanna share it with someone because his fans thinks hes the greatest? Or would you realistically sit down and say, "hey I (MAYWEATHER) made more money than him in every fight, even the same opponents we fought"!

Every boxing fan who truly wants to see a Pac-May fight shouldn't order this fight.
Floyd is already posturing for better share should his fight against Shane does better PPV. Another excuse to duck Pacquiao.
I know one thing for certain, Mayweather is not getting a dime form me. The trash talking style to hype your fights do not interest me. Why should I pay $55, sit for hours waiting for the fight, watch Floyd run, get frustrated, and then feel robbed? I can watch the ESPN highlight that wraps up the expected total two minutes of real action!!!
