Second, Pacquiao told Brian Kenny he was fine with the blood test as long as it wasn't the day of or the day before the fight (citing the Morales fight). Why then did he need a THIRTY DAY cut-off? And why did he have an issue with 14 days?
Third, Pacquiao claims he can't have his blood taken within 24 days of a fight, yet had his blood taken 19 days before the Clottey bout and went out and sparkled the next day in his sparring session. That was before throwing a dizzying 1200+ punches against Clottey.
Finally, I believe Floyd's motives are selfish. I believe Floyd avoided Margarito. I believe Floyd is all about the mighty dollar. I have Pacquiao ranked higher than Floyd all-time. But none of that changes what Pacquiao said and did. None.

Doesn't matter where they started from. The fact remains, they started low, and climed divisions and won, convincingly and sometimes in brutal fashion.
Duran started out at 119 when he was 16, and fought all the way up to 175 when he was 50.
Thats an even larger weight and age discrepancy than Pac.
Hearns started as a welter and fought as high as cruiserweight, some 40 plus pounds from where he started.
Going up in weight and taking power with you is not all that rare. Its been done before and will be done again. ****, Floyd himself won in 5 divisions.
I guess its only su****ious if you're not american?

Provide a link to any post that you either started or participated in that shows how much you care about protecting the integrity of the sport, or whether or not you're simply offering a narrative to support a fighter's agenda....any posts/comments prior to May/Pac negotiations?
Anyway I must recommend reading Thomas Hausers piece on the pac-floyd fall-out. That article is really all you need to know.

Because my position remains consistent, you on the other hand are completely inconsistent with your statements in this thread, in one post you state something then completely refute yourself in your very next post...RON BURGUNDY.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 04-29-2010, 04:49 PM.

Are you buying the Filipino "blood drain" theories?
example: 1 pint or 10% of your whole blood volume, what's 10% ? nothing?
it maybe nothing when it comes to such thing as split of the purse.. ah 10-90 split.. but its a scientific fact 10% alone will make u drain
lets put that in context, we know shane was tested one time on 24/7 and it was roughly 0.03% of his blood and that's one time, i also know some athletes like hasafa powell have been tested at least 3 times in a span of a week for 1%
the idea of a random blood test is not a guarantee and in a span of 8 weeks which is typical of a fighters training schedule and is the time when theyre gonna administer test, it's possible to get at least 5% of your blood volume out of your system decreasing your oxygen carrying capacity by that much
and hey even that much is use to dope... 1-10% is alot of blood
to lose and have it affect your system

Newsflash: You're not a member of Team Mayweather either. Stop acting like you know what's up.
****ing clown.
I just don't pretend to know **** and answer questions when I don't. I don't give two ****s about every interview.
I know enough to know that Floyd has avoided some very serious matchups throughout the years and the Pacquiao situation is no different. With that,
**** you too ***** ass puta.

What up Tilla...
I have this question for you...do you think PBF is even allowed to "SUSPECT" PAC of PED use???
I personally don't think he's guilty but I do think he, his trainer, team and promoter have been extremely suspect in their RESPONSES to even being ASKED to take the tests which by the way have made him look even more SUSPECT...
This seems to be and issue, in my opinion, a lot of boxing fans have with PAC fans - They (PAC fan) seem to gloss over or outright believe everything PAC and his team have said in regards to not agreeing to PED testing...
I enjoy watching PBF but his antics, while funny, make it very challenging to defend and support him...
So again, my question has nothing to do with PBF, it is addressed to the supporters of PAC...Do you really think PAC is above being ASKED to take the tests???
Peace Mo!
