Hey i would take the fight if i was him......in the beginning i thought manny was wrong until i saw how Floyd starting trashing everything hes ever done and agreeing to making a cutoff date showing that it was actually about getting Manny to test positive but somethingg else.....now we have his nonsense of going back and forth thaty floyd created

Jones is entirely different circumstances , OST cant be beaten today when focus is on only 2 players , when testing involves 1000s things slip by , only way to beat this in boxing is use something unknown or new , because when they focus on you with OST you aint gunna use nothing known thats a given .Comment

you know i was thinking the same arguement. but you have to consider that usada wasn't established until october '00 and (i think) jones wasn't convicted (as in accused and received reprecussions for) for anything before the '00 olympics. and also the extreme technological gains since then. i'm still standing firm that this ALL was a "business" decision.Comment

Anyway i dont get why people are focusing on Roaches opinions since they dont matter......hes just saying want he wants, he doesnt make the choises at all, all he does is make a plan for when and what Pac does in the ring not out of itComment

Weighing over is still cheating.....and the penalty is there to ensure Floyd doesnt weigh over since money is the MOST important thing, theres no way Floyd weighs over with that penalty.
Any why are you bringing this up? Floyd had no problem with it, he agree right away.......thats a penalty that should never even be used because fighters specially elite fighters should not weigh over
Im bringing this up for 2 reasons.
1. Floyd's getting a bit of a bad rap for asking for this test, however, like you said earlier, Floyd agreed to his request to pay manny more than a 1,000 percent more than what he paid marquez to give Manny PEACE OF MIND that come fight night, they would be on a level playing field.
2. By Manny not willing to comply to the test after floyd agreed to his stipulation gives me the impression that either manny is guilty or hiding something, or they never expected Floyd to accept that ridiculous amount.
Not to mention if your using your same theory on the weight issue's with both fighters, then we're arguing a mute point. Like you said Floyd agreed to pay Pacquiao 10 mil every pound he was overweight, the same way Marquez agreed to fight Floyd knowing mayweather was 2lbs over during the weigh-in. Floyd didn't try to negotiate around it, (even though the number is excessively high) he signed so pacquiao didn't have to worry about that **** come fight night. Manny/Roach on the other hand just seem to have a problem with RANDOM BLOOD TEST, not giving Floyd the peace of mind he's willing to give manny.
I have a question for you. If Mayweather had told Manny to go f-ck himself when they asked him to pay 10mil per pound every pound he was overweight, and mayweather refused AND THE FIGHT WAS CANCELED BECAUSE OF IT; would we/you assume that it was because come the night of the weigh-in Mayweather planned on coming in overweight again? If your answer is yes, then you should be able to understand why people are questioning Pacquiao.Comment

So basically youre saying its because of Shane's position now and he doesnt have the leverage to say no. Or maybe its because Shane knows he's not using any drugs so he has nothing to hide, why are you and many defending someone who doesnt want to give a random test is beyond me, do you people listen to yourselves, or do you just hate Floyd so much that anything not in his favor makes you happy.Comment

Well there are penalites in place already for fighters that don't come in at their respective weight classes. Just like there is a drug testing system to To me there was no way FLoyd would come into back to back fights (especially one of this magnitude overweight again).

If he signed the contract that OK'd it and then cancelled because he knew he wouldnt make weight, then he would have his ass sued off....but that wouldnt happen because he would say he got hurt in training instead of having a contract disagreement.....anyway Floyd has a history of cheating(weighing over) so Manny has a reason to ask for it....plus the penalty is something the fighters negotiate, while drug testing is notComment
