Lucian Bute needs a July opponent...who should he go after?

Note: Steilgitz, or whatever his name is, said "NO"
Bika/Brinkley winner will NOT be ready by July 24TH

So here are the only logical choices...

Sebastien Demers...Both Canadians (sort of), no fight lined up for Demers, been on a 5-6 win streak, why not

Kelly Pavlik...just in case Pavlik is tired of making 160, and a Martinez rematch may not seem as appealing when he can fight for a title at 168

    Peter Quilin...American, young, undefeated...

Brian Magee...British, veteran, win streak as of late...

Maybe bait some other 160lber to move up...

That Super 6 tournament has everyone else tied up

WHAT WOULD YOU SUGGEST HE DO?

      Sergio Martinez is lucrative choice

A fight with Adrian Diaconu would also be a draw in Montreal

      Also theirs always Bernard Hopkins

manfredo if he wants to test himself. look what manfredo can do when the ref gives him a chance to fight and doesn't stop the fight when he's blocking punches on his gloves.

Why do fools keep bringing up Martinez, when Martinez says he wants to fight Margarito or Pavlik? Martinez does not want to go up to 168!

No, no.......your thinking here is just, IDK how to tell you....its just wrong.

The guy can't even eat his way up to the SMW limit, in his last 2 fights coming in at 166 and 167 for MW fights.

This rehydration weight is typical for the JMW division which is physically where he belongs even if he just won the MW title.

A Bute fight wouldn't be fair and I couldn't give Lucian credit for a win over Sergio.

Because the double header was set up as a sort of semifinal if Pavlik and Bute made it both ways (why would they do it split site?) It didn't work as planned and Bute offers the richest fight for Martinez with the exception of Margarito.
