If he decides to stick around too long, he will lose. Or if he fights Pacquiao, he has a chance to lose.Comment

I am not talking about a little 2 year "stint".
I am talking about retired for GOOD... undefeated.
I don't think he will... I think the paydays will suck him back into the game long after he is past his best.
When he is 37, 38, 39.... and that 30 million dollar payday is on the table... I think he will take it.. and eventually lose.
The money will be his downfall.
No he won't retire undefeated. But will retire sooner than you think.Comment

He seems ignorant of finances. Unless he has a good financial advisor and a good accountant to set up a pension fund, he will end up like Chavez.Comment

I seriously doubt that. He will make more than enough money in his next 4 fights than we could ever imagine. Plus Mayweather promotions will probably start growing once they start to really go at it hard..Ellerbe says he has 5 fights left on "this mysterious list".I am not talking about a little 2 year "stint".

I'll also add that I can clearly remember fighters like Delahoya and Roy Jones Jr claiming they would not stay in the game too long. This was while he was undefeated. The same with Delahoya. I even remember Oscar saying he would not fight past 30. Hopkins said he would retire by 40 because of his Mom's wishes. How did that turn out? Floyd already came back from one "retirement" and Pacquiao won't be any different. He'll continue to fight as long as the money is still being offered. In a perfect world these fighters would ride into the sunset on top. But way more often than not, it doesn't work that way. I doubt Floyd retired undefeated for that reason and there is no guarantee that he'll be undefeated after Saturday.I am not talking about a little 2 year "stint".
