If Jose Luis Lopez was able to tag Quartey, I'm pretty sure Tito could as well.

Mosley is more of a brawler, and he doesn't have Winky Wright defense. It would be a good match but I can see Tito knocking Mosley out late.

Since when does Mosley box? People have an impression of Mosley as way more skilled than he is for some reason. He would have slugged it out with Tito, made it a toss up.

maybe, I see that as a bad fight since Quartey has done better against much better fighter, he still won though. Lets not forget this guy came off a 4 year layoff to put a boxing lesson on NERNON FORREST, and got robbed blind man. Tito does not do well against guys with authoritative jabs.

He doesn't but what Tito had was excellent stamina, a fairly decent jab himself when he used it and incredible power at 147. Quartey faded late and could be hit...a lot. Recipe for disaster against Trinidad.

However, you mentioned several guys saying that. Anyone else? Hopkins? Anyone else?
Hopkins, but that was understandible, and I believe Oscar BITD claimed he never felt or was bothered by his shots, and that he has been hit harder.

Actually, Oscar claimed he was hurt by Tito in the 8th. Interesting since Oscar never stood still long enough for Tito to get full leverage on his shots.

So we have Winky and Hopkins - two of the most iron-chinned fighters of this generation. Two guys who never fought at welter.

                    Hmm.
