floyd was royally screwed in that fight---i remember watching it with my dad, and i cried like a baby after he lost----i knew he should have won---i just turned 10 about 2 weeks prior ot this, and my dad took me to the fight---it was my birthday gift---i followed floyd a lot in the amateurs thanks to my pa....i was pissed after i cried too--i knew the sport very well, even at that age---and i knew floyd was tagging this kid left and right---i was shocked when he lost---floyd really won that fight by a landslide---he should have advanced to the finals and everybody knew it, including his opponent---my dad couldn't stop cussing and yelled to floyd don't let it kill you---perservere, and floyd gave me a pound when he walked to the back---he saw tears in my eyes, and he looked like he was about to break down and cry right there---i know he cried---i would have too---that was a slap in america's face imo, just like with roy jones jr----but floyd made up for that loss didn't he(which was really a win for him)----

and why are people talking about castillo? this thread was about floyd's' lost in the amateurs---and people have to find anything to bash floyd for----so they picked a fight where he won a close decision imo, with a ****ing torn rotator's cuff and 2 cracked ribs----the man fought with an injury, but wanted the title so bad, he pulled through it, and gave the champion a rematch he deserved, only to beat him again---

floyd beat jose twice, get over it----now floyd was screwed in the olympics, that's for damn sure----

Isn't it interesting that two of the greatest boxers of the past 50 years (Roy Jones and PBF) both got jobbed in the amateurs? Olympic boxing is a joke.

Funny how "everyone knows" Mayweather lost one or both bouts to Castillo, yet the same argument is shot down loudly when someone dares to suggest Pacquiao was beaten either time by Marquez.
