The thing about ESPN viewers is that they are the young men who are apparently already "in the boat".

...as opposed to the little man in the boat. That's something else.

I expect it to do 1.3-1.5. Wouldn't be surprised if it did more, but will be if it does less. We're reading a USA Today article about it. There will be more in the coming days. And you won't be able to escape it on Friday.

          I don't get your analogy.

I don't even know anymore. I predicted Numero Uno would do 550-600K and that did 1.1M. For this, I'm gonna say 1.6-1.7M.

Highly doubt it does more than 1.5,which is really good.Wont go anywhere near to breaking records.

In marketing terms, saying someone is 'in the boat' is saying that those people are already aware, and are already buyers. So you don't waste money selling to people who are already on board. a similar term is 'preaching to the choir'. Go spend the money and effort to bring in new buyers.

You don't advertise boxing to NSB members...ya know?

Well, does this feel bigger than Cotto/pac?

Come to think of it, it does. Screw that, I'll say 1.8M.

That's what I thought. I mean I have seen commercials on ESPN though.

I don't think ESPN works like that though. They just show what would spark the most interest, and get them the most viewers. So by them not even mentioning since it was signed is odd to me.
