Ronnie this fight has nothing to do with pacquiao! Its Mayweather vs Mosley!! Ronnie it seems u r obsessed with manny! I think u need a shrink for that!!
I do not understand how boxingscene does not see a problem with ronnies articles. The guy only writes about pac, and ****s on everyone else. He should just write in mannys fan club forum instead of this site.
Writers are supposed to objective, but since Ronnie isn't one he tries to compensate by writing yet another love letter to Pac. I swear this guy with all his lubing of Pac is going to turn people off from Pac. Is he in heat or something?
Floyd has to win this fight, it's not supposed to be a toss up. If Floyd wins or even if he loses, it shouldn't be a bad thing, it should open him up for more competition against welterweights, and junior middleweights - I just don't want him to say, 'Oh I won, I'm shuttin the haters up.' No, instead he should expand his legacy and fight Paul Williams, challenge yourself a little bit, then fight Sergio Martinez, ask Al Haymon to get Berto for you. I don't want Floyd to runaway from young talent, Marquez was a waste of time, Hatton was out of his zone in welterweight...I'm not gonna get into it, but Mayweather has wasted years proving nothing. It's time for some real fights.
Cant comment on the Pac fight cuz I'm not sure they will ever agree to testing...?
I think it's important to note, I believe Shane could beat Floyd, I just don't think Floyd should lose. If Shane fights the perfect fight it is possible. Floyds most recent fight where he didn't look as crisp, if you will, came in the form of De La Hoya. Oscar had a great game plan that he didn't stick to. He should have used his jab more and applied pressure accurately in terms of timing, however he lunged in recklessly, and it doesn't help being slow, not against Mayweather. Oscar also lacked the gas tank to accomplish the job. Shane can follow the same idea, apply pressure, along with lateral movement - Shane has the speed and the footwork to catch floyd, and should have the stamina, even at his age, 12 rounds against Floyd is doable. I'm a fan of boxing I just want to see a great fight, I'm routing for both of these guys to give me a great show.
Floyd struggled against Hatton until he adjusted and fought Hatton at a weight class he wasnt comfortable with. TRUE
Pac embarrassed Hatton in 2rds with no trouble in Hattons weight class.
Floyd won a split decision over washed up Delaquitter.
Pac embarrassed the washed up Delaquitter in a one sided fashion.
Floyd has never fought at a legitimate Welterweight until now..
Pac fought Cotto and Clottey..
Why does Pac get fighter of the decade? Cause he's fought anyone you put in the ring with him.. and has done it with fashion..
Inaccurate, Floyd beats Baldomir who beats Clottey by disqualification which proves that floyd fought a legitimate welterweight. Clottey brawled with Baldomir so hard until he was disqualified for headbutting. It took only 1st round for floyd to draw blood on Baldomir while clottey after doing his best succeeded after headbutting in round 10. I think floyd could have punished Baldomir more if he doesnt listened to his cornermen, ellerbe just want him to boxed smartly and let Baldomir chased him considering the overwhelming leads on points.
Also I believed, floyd exposes Hatton's weakness by knocking him with that left hook that lands on right chin, that has been the target of Pac all along.
The Mayweathers are obsessed and possessed by charm of Manny 'The Pacman" Pacquiao. The fight with Shane is just few days away and the Ugly Duckling is still talking about Manny. There must be something in Manny that makes KFC feels very insecured.
