I'm sure floyds actions outside the ring area factor. It just seems to me that "boxing" skills are not as appreciated as "fighting" skill.
Nowadays, no one cares about technical fighters. Most people would rather watch Kimbo Slice than watching Floyd, Marquez, ect..

When SRL boxed duran in the rematch and hit and move against hagler the American public loved it. Nowadays, boxers don't get as much respect as brawlers or "fighters"
every boxing fan appreciate the so called sweet science imo but they also love to see a ko. it's a male thing i think, machismo...everybody loves a warrior. boxing fans love to see a display of boxing skills but at the same time they hate it when fighters are devoid of the warrior mentality. that's why people loved leonard because he has both. he made duran quit. he beat hagler with his superior skills but he also mixed it up with him. he was not afraid to get hit.

Pacquiao's legacy is better than Mayweather's but Mayweather's technical ability is greater than almost anyone's. Money is an as5 though, so I hate on him whenever possible, lol!!

Zahir Raheem is technically superior to a lot of people.
