floyd is the better skilled but pac has the bigger fighting heart and has better accomplishments in the ring as well. that's one thing floyd fans should realize...skills is not the only reason to make a great fighter.

I think its just today's culture. Boxing and moving, the sweet science, isn't appreciated as much as it was before MMA and other fighting sports gained traction. People expect boxing matches to have blood and KO's like MMA.

When SRL boxed duran in the rematch and hit and move against hagler the American public loved it. Nowadays, boxers don't get as much respect as brawlers or "fighters"

I can't disagree with Sergio we all know Floyd will beat the brakes off of Manny.

Mayweather is technically superior to Pac. Nobody argues this.

I don't really look onto resume or accomplishments as much as most people do. Resume and accomplishments didn't helped Mike Tyson against Buster Douglas when they fought. Accomplishments and resume didn't helped Ali when he fought Joe Frazier in their first bout. Just because you have a better resume and have accomplish more than certain fighters, it doesn't automatically means that you can beat those certain fighters. When you're inside that ring, nothing else matters, just two men trying to prove who the better all-around fighter is. Shane and Pacquiao has accomplishes more than Floyd, but that doesn't automatically means that they're all-around better in terms of fighting ability.

Yes but a lot of posters seem to appreciate "fighting" more than "boxing". They think "tough" ie taking punches to give punches is better than "smart" ie hitting and moving.

I'm sure floyds actions outside the ring area factor. It just seems to me that "boxing" skills are not as appreciated as "fighting" skill.
