Floyds single shots are much faster IMO, his shots are like pistons... whereas pacmans single shots arent as quick his combination punching is so fluid he can throw 5 faster than Floyd can throw 5.

As I said in another thread made by Burner about speed factor...

Timing is a pre-requisite of speed.

Floyd is probably the best boxer with regards to timing of his shots, his one-punch is top-notch and is proof of the claim. That's why he's also the most accurate puncher alive.

Manny OTOH is faster in compiling combos. As seen in often weird but effective angles (heck, he can string 4/5-punch combos in less than 2 seconds)

So therefore Floyd is faster at one-punch shots, and Manny's faster with flurries of punches. It depends on what we factor in with speed, if it's just pure unadulterated speed (Pacquiao), or speed with the pre-requisites included (Floyd).

You guys factor in what you feel

floyds reflexes make him look faster but punches i think pac has a slight edge.

pac is definitely faster than floyd. pbf is just the more accurate puncher, imo!

pac. maybe 5 years ago floyd was faster.

pac's in and out is faster and his combos are ridiculous.

one punch, i think they are about even.

                but who really knows??

Floyds jabs and straights are fast as one punch shota, but combination speed goes to pacman.

and i think Pac looks to land first a lot. if u think pac cant counter floyd and catch him youde be very wrong, even judah countered floyd and actually scored a knockdown by floyds glove touching the canvas, even though it wasnt counted.

                      Handspeed; about even

                      Footspeed; Mayweather

I think what gives Mayweather more of an edge is his reaction time, he can dodge a punch, hit you, and dodge another punch in one fluid motion.
