James Leija is OLD OLD and tired... As is Leonard Dorin...

As soon as Gatti steps in the ring with someone under 35yrs of age and a bit more talented, (i.e. Mayweather) he's gonna look extremely old and shot. You'll see when the two fight.

Gatti is gonna whoop Gayweather. Gatti is a more dangerous puncher than Hatton has ever faced. And Gatti will stand and FIGHT with Hatton which In my opinion the best way to go about beating him if you are fighting him in Manchester. You cant let yourself get bullied around and look to counterpunch like Tzyu did. You have to stand and FIGHT this guy.

Easy way to answer this is to check the pound for pound rankings. Everyone has Floyd in the Top 3 while Hatton just entered the Top 10. Only way to truly solve this is for them to step in the ring.
at first i thought it would be nice to have pfb and KT fight each other. now i think hatton proved to be worthy in place of tszyu to fight mayweather to settle this issue.

although floyd is cosidered very excellent as a boxer, let us not forget that sluggers are best at creating problems to boxers

How can anybody be against Gatti. The guy is a true class act, and a carries all the honor of a Gladiator from the Colleseum in Rome to the modern day. Every single fight he leaves it all out there, he never quits, he fights to his death or to his opponents like in the old days.

I dissagree with you... Gatti is there for the taking.

I'd rate him about 7th or 8th in the division.

Mayweather maybe a little feather fisted, but he'll just toy with Gatti. (I don't like Mayweather).

I don't wanna sound big-headed, but I'm very rarely wrong with my boxing predictions.

I think Hatton would take Gatti out in 3 rounds. Hatton is 3 times the speed and half the "boxing" age.

Like I said, Gatti is there for the taking and has been for a while.

YOu are so wrong. So very wrong. Nobody is going to defeat Gatti without knocking his ass out cold or from the gift stoppage from the ref. Gayweather is gonna get knocked out and finally Gatti will get some respect. Nobody ever gives this guy any repect. He has beaten alot of high quality fighters. You say he is past his prime but lately he looks better than ever. Now he has a good jab and other assets.

I agree with the Hatton pick as the 140 lb king being "the man who beat the man".

and to add, he has fought more blood thirsty warriors than pfb.

Standard logic man. It eludes alot of people around here though unfortunately.

Well I don't wanna pick holes... But you were telling me last week that if Tyson can get down to 220lbs he would rule the heavyweight division.

I tried to tell you that weight isn't gonna help Mike, he's a shot fighter.

I've been involved with boxing for many years, and if there's one thing I can see most clearly, it's when a fighter becomes shot.

Gatti has been involved in some GREAT fights over the years, and I love watching the guy fight... But he will not beat Mayweather. (Hey I don't like Mayweather either and it would be a fantastic end to Gatti's career to go out beating a guy like Mayweather, but it ain't gonna happen).
