Skill wise, Mayweather is on a different level than Hatton.

Thats just not true, skill is someone's ability to do something very well. Mayweather has a very tactical style(which is often called skill) but that doesnt mean his style is more effective than Hattons. Hattons defensive ability often gets overlooked because he's such an agressive fighter, in the same way the young Mike Tysons did.

IMO Mayweather is the P4P king but naturally Mayweather shouldnt even be fighting at 140, so until he has a meaningful fight at the weight he cant be considered for the top spot in the divison. If he beat Gatti then its up for debate but Hatton is currently number 1 at 140.

Mayweather likes a slow paced fight so he can use the left shoulder and leave his right hand high. He'll get exposed in a slugfest with his style. In a slugfest Roger has to drop the right hand to throw punches and that is leaves open his biggest weakness in his style, an exposed rightside jaw.

mayweather is one of the top p4p fighters in the world and its for a reason he knows that a slugfest is the only chance gatti has to beat him and he is not ****** enough to get into that type of fight mayweather's speed and boxing skills is what will win him the fight with gatti , although gatti always has a punchers chance i just don't see mayweather getting close enough to get caught with anything ..
