  • Can Mayweather be forced to fight?

yes. but you need someone who isnt afraid to engage and had relentless pressure like pacquiao.

pacquiao vs mayweather would be like the first leonard duran in which leonard was forced to fight.

      Yes, it's possible.

It won't last long though. He will duke it out maybe 2 rounds then Roger will tell him to change his ****. Then he will out box the dude for the remaining rounds and Mayweather will win UD.

Chop Chop and Judah are perfect examples of this.

Wasnt leonard more of a brawler than Mayweather?

leonard wasn't forced to fight IMO. he chose to becaue he thought he could win either way and he wanted to destroy duran.

in that era it was vice versa..the brawler who was duran was the **** talker and sugar ray was the soft spoken quiet confidence guy and the boxer. duran got in sugar's head so bad that all he wanted to do was take durans head off and it backfired on him. thats why floyd is the smartest fighter to date. cuz he wont have what ali has now nor he will get into an emotional brawl like sugar ray

Of course. You have to have 1 of 2 things, in addition to a great chin, to do it though. Either fast feet to close the distance or enough power and skill to get to Mayweather's body consistently.

Castillo forced Mayweather to fight for most of the 2nd half by taking his legs from the consistent body work throughout.

If Hatton knew what he was doing and was strong enough to break Mayweather's clinches, he could have made it a fight. Hatton was closing distance and making Floyd uncomfortable while Mayweather was potshotting and wrapping him up, so a fight didn't break out. And he did it until Hatton slowed down.
