would be more shocked if mr.pacquiao lost.

    a conspirory theorist here:
1.rusty mayweather doesnt show up with his "A" game.
    2. mr.mayweathers fragile paws( imo why may retired to begin with)
may come into play and influence mays gameplan.
    3. that its true that may is in it for the money. and will have less heart.
    4. moneymay if pressured or injured(accidental headbutt, fragile
paws, etc.) could give up with moremoney rematch in future.

i've put down others that talk this conspiricy stuff in other fights.
but since its me its alright.

I agree with this. Everyone has a style that can beat them. The longer you avoid the styles that will give you problems, the longer you can stay undefeated.

A great counter puncher will always give Manny problems. A high volume, pressure fighter with some pop will give Mayweather fits.

I think floyds an amazing fighter, but you've got to understand the argument, he very rarely fights anyone of note, and when he does their usually well on their way to retirement. I give him full credit for fighting ricky hatton, one of only 2 undefeated fighters on floyds record, but even that win was outside of hattons weight division.

Its not as if the competition hasnt been there either, hes had a huge amount of oppurtunity to clash with the best and make some truely classic fights. Pre-margarito Cotto would have made a brilliant fight for floyd, shane 10 years ago could have been a career defining fight, pacquiao right now would be awesome. But they wont happen. Theres only so many excuses you can hear before you accept the fact that floyd just wants to keep his 0 and make as much money as possible without really pushing himself or risking anything.

To answer the question, it would shock me if floyd lost, because it would shock me if he fought anyone he thought he could lose to
This is the problem though. He has fought many of note. None of the young fighters that you see out here fought the quality opponents floyd did so early in his career. You guys aren't looking at it subjectively. This is a guy who's been a champ for all but about 3 years of his career he's been that guy for most of his career and he earned his way there. There is no media hype on mayweather. He made his career before the WW division and when he got to that division he beat the top two guys at the time. Only the people who haven't been following boxing for a while think floyd has never beat anyone of note in their prime. It doesn't matter though you'll see on May 1st how good the guy is.

            Against who?

A Manny loss vs Malignaggi would shock me more than a May loss vs Mosley.

Honestly, Manny. Manny has looked superb, his offensive arsenal is incredible.

Mayweather in my opinion has steered clear of the elite at 147 so now he started to face them losing wouldn't be that big of a shock, theres no shame in losing to the top at 147.
