angulo surprized me. he's a better boxer than I thought. he timed the right hand counter perfectly.

oreo-la is a disgrace. someone need to displine his fat ass. the fight was winnable if he had the proper conditioning. fat ****

      it's bad fat too.

tua was fat but you can tell he was working out in the gym. he was solid even with a lot of fat on him.

arreola has jelly roll blubber and sagging *******.

i don't think angulo is that slow. i think he's got enough of speed of foot and hand to be a champ someday.

arreola is dissappoiting to me, he's probably one of the top 3 or four guys i look forward to watching, but he's an enigma. one minute you see him in the ring and he appears to want it more than any fighter, but than he comes in the shape that he's always coming in for a fight.

        i don't understand that.

But anyway as far as your observation goes I agree with pretty much everything. I think a fighter that can stick and move will always give Angulo problems, especially early in the fight, let's just hope for Perro's sake that if he continues to fight those kind of fighters he's able to do enough work and impose his strength in order to break his opponent down and go for the kill like he did against Julio but something he wasn't able to do with Cintron, I think the flu rumors were actually true even though I hate to say it but Cintron is above in terms of skills compared to Julio at this point of his career so it was a more difficult fight for el Perro.

As far as being more skilled than Tony...hmmm I used to think that before the Cintron loss but I think Tony is a more disciplined fighter and actually cuts the ring better and is a more body attack savage than Agulo is, he barely connected on Julios body early, he was mostly head hunting, you know Tony wouldn't of fought that way. Angulo is not getting any younger either but I hope they work on his footwork a little bit more as well as moving the head or at least to try and teach him to roll punches better if he's not going to get better defensively, he just eats them, Tony at the very least has a much better defense than Angulo, he parries punches and rolls them much more effectively even though he gets hit a lot also.

Arreola will always be Arreola, can't change that beast, he had a lot of heart and if those hand injuries were real and not exaggerated he put in a lot of effort and heart to get his man but Adamek was just superb in my opinion, he moved well, punched well, fast hands and good stamina and resilience, he had a well deserved win.
I heard he missed because Shaw wanted him to.

As far as everything else, I think Margarito is a beast don't get me wrong but he extends himself too much, leaving himself open to much for hard counters. I like the way Perro is more controlled, he doesn't leave himself open the way Marg does.

Marg does have a better offensive arsenal though, his uppers are deadly and he can defend the jab better but remember, he's also a lot more experienced than Angulo.

Like I said, I just hope Shaw looks after Angulo and doesn't put him in there with someone to early.

Agreed, Angulo does have a more tighter stance, tucks his elbows well and is not as a wide puncher like Tony.

Yea man, I love his patience and his relaxed state in there. That's something you can't teach, it's like he's just waiting his time.

He fights like someone with 40+ fights and not someone with less than 20. I just wish he would move his ***ing head more!!

yeah man Perro would never miss a chance for his fans to come see him train etc so this was not his doing.

man the crowd reaction to him is now starting to get into that level where he could probably headline his own fight in LA next. I asked Shaw after the fight and he agreed no more Perro in Florida or Conn he needs to capitalize on his fanbase in LA.

you know what's even more mind blowing?

He said in the post fight presser that he didn't pick up his first glove until he was 17.

                    I didn't know that....

Like I said, he's been taught good fundamentals, he just needs to move his head more.

Clemente is an offensive trainer a lot of his fighters lack defense.
