Rewatching Froch-Kessler now....

Froch was the aggressor the whole fight. (even backing up) I really want to see some punch stats because I know for a FACT Kessler didn't land more than Froch.
I watched the fight live via. a bad stream, but today I have watched it several times in good quality..
Kessler was the aggressor throughout the fight. Kessler was the more active fighter, Froch didn't do enough. Kessler landed more punches. Kessler arguably had the best combos. Kessler threw more combos.. though a lot of them missed. If you watch the fight, and actually PAY ATTENTION, both fighters were hitting air a lot of the time, not just Kessler. Also, in the early rounds, many of Frochs punches went to Kesslers guard. Kessler landed a lot of body punches and obviously worked.
It was a close fight, however.. But the best man on that night won. Live with it. The majority agrees with me.

Froch landed some good jabs in there, particularly early on, but I don't think they were enough to tip the scales by gaining points in effective aggression and clean punching.
Froch also did a good job of keeping Kessler from landing up top for most of the fight, but he still allowed Kessler to offer more in the way of offense than he did himself.
It was a close and competitive fight with quite a few subjective rounds but I think Kessler definitely deserved his win. I also think if Froch placed less emphasis on boxing Kessler and more on attacking him, he would have knocked him out late.

Froch easily outboxed and landed flush power shots for the first 5 rounds. Couple that with his jab, jab, jab jab jab in Kessler's face.
People keep going on about Kessler's body shots. Lmfao - sure, he landed probably 5-6 in the first 5-6 rounds. Big deal when Froch was landing bombs to the head of Kessler, coupled with stiff jabs and his own body work.
Suarerland STOLE that belt from Froch. Absolutely sickening way to treat a champion that beat you up in your own back yard.
Froch and his corner knew he lost right away, that should tell you something

I have yet to see anyone explain how Kessler won any of the first 5 rounds. Let alone all 4/5 of them as some people claim!
