Guinn just looked like he didn't care if he won or not. He didn't look surprised when he did loose. Beating Grant (IMHO) was a matter of timing, Grant hasn't been close to what he was since Lewis got a hold of him. When they got in the ring, I really thought Guinn would have killed this guy, he looked in much better shape, but that wasn't the case. I can't take anything away from Liakhovich, he did what he needed to do to win. He needs better compitition to solidify his rankings.

The HW division needs a new hero, a "Mike Tyson" kind of fighter. When you look at the belt holders, can you honestly call one of them a true champion?

Does anybody think Guinn will get his act together and rise up to the occasion? I hope so.

Mike Tyson type of fighter = Guin??? NO. Guin has no power what so ever. This kid will seriously get hurt if he in there w/a top 10 guy. That lazy attitude of his will get him put into a coma. Put a fork in this guy hes done. I was very hyped about this kid about a year year ago and was hoping him and Messi would go at it in the ring. But one is a Bust (Guinn) and the Other is Busted (Mesi)
      OH WELL
Maybe this White Wolf gets in shape he could make some noise if anythinmg he fights more like a little guy in that he relentlessley attacks the body. AS FORa Tyson Type of fighter I think will hjave to see if Peters pans out or Kalvin Davis moves up. However they are by no means in the same league as an eighties Tyson.

True about Peters! I hope he pans out. He sure hits damn hard. I am looking forward to his next fight. He should fight Liakhovich, that would be a good stepping stone since they both beat a known fighter. My money is on Peters!!!!

Interesti ng matchup. Segui gets hit alot but seems to have a descent chin w/the exception of Mo Harris . The Nigeriannightmare vrs the WhiteWolf I LIKE IT. Make it so #1.

50/50 pick for me just cause Peters defense lacks and I could see those body shot of Liakhovich making some trouble for peters

Like the match up though good fight as an undercard on HBO afterdark

I have to admit, I bought into him. Still think he's pretty good, he's just going to have to reavaluate his career. No one can motivate a fighter but himself.

Man that is SO true! He need's to take time to think it out...decide if boxing is what he reallly wants to do and if so dedicate himself FULLY to it. He just seemed like he didnt even wanna be there. I like him but it's hard to "cheer him on" when he looks like he doesnt even care

He reminded me of Michael Moorer. I was a big MM fan back in the day when he was hungry, then he just lost it. It seems when some fighters reach a certain platform, they are happy getting there and the desire and hunger escapes them. Joppy had that look the other night too, just not hungry. Tyson too. But Mike is very hard to read.

Yeah, anybody that can "read" Tyson is a gifted person!

I always considered, that the guy overestimated.
