That's disappointing. I was on the Guinn bandwagon after the Grant fight. Not that I thought he was going to be a legend, but I did feel that the kid had some really good things going for him. I don't know what his problem is. He just seems so lethargic. Lethargism gets a football player benched; it can get a fighter killed. Guinn needs to re-evaluate his participation in the sport.

At least Guinn wasn't knocked out. This wasn't as bad a loss as people make it out to be. He just needs to go back to the drawing board.

True...I like him too, and was disappointed and frustrated with him so much! He honestly looked like he would rather be any place other than where he was Just wouldnt commit to anything...a very lackluster performance

I thought Guinn showed a lack of desire to fight

but i dont think it was unrelated to what Sergei L. was doing.

Everytime Guinn hit him Sergei always had to , or tried to answer back with a flurry or a combo. Now he wasn't always successful but i think the fact that he showed his willingness to do this
discouraged Guinn to the point where he allowed Liakhovich to take command and lead.

SErgei Liakhovich isn't all that bad, but he definately needs to get into better shape

Guinn did have him going in a few of the rounds, and were he not as afraid he might have gotten something going.

I didn't get to see the fight, but I am disappointed. I had hoped Guinn would do better in the division, as he is such a nice young man. Very polite, well spoken kid, the kind of young man that would be good for the sport, kind of a black Joe Mesi. - Oh well - NEXT......

See, thats the main thing that I liked about him too. Its one thing to be a great fighter; but to have a good personality is such a bonus! I know alot of guy's dont care if they act like apes out of the ring, but kids look at them as role models..and theres no way I'd let my daughter listen in on a Tyson interview...you just never know what will be said, and then I would have to explain it! Rocky Juarez, Juan Diaz are other examples of good guys...I know there are alot more than that, I just cant bring them to mind right now ( I always thought Lennox was a stand up kind of guy too..very well mannered and my kid loves him!!!)
