Floyd Mayweather has made a complete fool out of Pacquio, and I'm not happy.

Trust me man, Clottey sort of killed Pacquiao's buzz. I don't want to see it either but it's gonna happen.

Agree, but it's being talked about and promoted like it is though. The 24/7 numbers have apparently been through the roof.

At first I was weary about a main event without any latino fighters doing above 1.5 million, but with all the buzz both media and grassroots it's safe to say this fight is going to be huge.

on may 2nd, boxing will be dead/alive as it was before. the only thing floyd is resurrecting is his bank account.

Best reply to one of my threads ever. I'm Slovene-America, so by your logic I guess i'm a Jan Zaveck nuthugger.

give me some examples of what you think a "super," or "mega" fight is....

here you have 2 of the top 3 fighters in the division.....1 is undefeated, 1 is coming off the biggest win of his career, and is recognized as the #1 WW.

aside from mayweather-pacquiao, i can't think of another fight that beats this one.

Not buying that Mayweather-Mosley will be the fight of the decade, especially since we have until 2019 to decide that. But the Clottey fight was just a horrible choice. I think Pacquiao will eventually redeem himself with a huge fight before he retires. There's too much money with him.

Margarito isn't gonna decline. Even though most of us don't want to see Margarito vs. Pacquiao; it does spell excitement. I mean "The Event" was a disappointment. I know this is all running through Arum's head.

I kinda agree. Superfights, even like Mayweather vs Pacquiao, won't save boxing. Not in the long term.

I think you're right as usual. It would be an action fight, but we just got a Pac fight we didn't want. And it doesn't really mean ****.

Ya know, Kelly took the loser of Williams/Martinez and really didn't get much **** for it due to Martinez's credibility. If Floyd wins, and Floyd/Pac still isn't made, which fight would you rather see? Pac/Mosely or Pac/Margarito? They would both be pretty big.
