Very close fight think I would have gone for Kessler very narrowly, but don't think he did enough to be able to win the belt, if you are scoring the close rounds to the champion then Froch would have got a draw at least. But saying that if none had a belt, and your not giving close rounds to champion Kessler would have won by two rounds.

IO thought the fight could have gone either way,7 to 5.

116-112 and 117-111 is to wide for me.
      I co sign this.

If you take the judging criteria:
        Clean Punching (25%)
        Effective Aggression (25%)
        Ring Generalship (25%)
        Defense (25%)

I believe that Kessler clearly won 8 rounds.

Not a flame thread at all.

If you think Froch won, I'd like to hear your argument for him winning 7 rounds. I just simply couldn't find more than 4 to give him.
kessler attacked abit more then froch...fight was close but kessler won the belt fair and square

7-5 Kessler or a draw. Froch didn't win IMO, perhaps because outside of the 5th all of "his" rounds were close and hard to score whereas Kessler's rounds were easy to score (6-7-8 especially)

not even a close fight! Kessler won it, the 3 neutral judges all scored it his way as I did..

Dude.... 3,4,5 were easy Froch rounds. 1,2 were either drawn or Froch rounds. KEssler landed about 2 jabs and a couple of body shots.... I failed to see much from Kessler at all in those rounds for him. (granted not much from Froch either but IMO more.. came forward with hooks and right hands to the head).

6,7 were closer than 4 and 5.... but sure, still KEssler.

              8 was clear Kessler.

9,10,11... I mean come on Froch was just outboxing Kessler, making him miss and landing big shots to Kessler's dome. Especially 10 and 11 in which Froch looked like Pernell.

12 is dead even. Kessler with alot of ineffective Calzaghing for a bit. Then Froch beats Kessler around the ring with 5 big shots for 30 secs then Kessler rallies for the last 10. Got to be even.
