I had it a draw and thought it would go to Kessler just because it was in Denmark. aside from rounds 7 and 8, Froch landed all the flashier punches, but Kessler put in good work and was consistent all three minutes
Kessler-Froch... Your Opinions.

I think the fight could've easily been a draw. There was a lot of close rounds that I gave to Kessler only because I assumed that they were gonna give him those rounds in Denmark.Hey guys,
Just got done watching the fight and I don't think the fight was as close as the commentary was leading us to believe.
If you take the judging criteria:
Clean Punching (25%)
Effective Aggression (25%)
Ring Generalship (25%)
Defense (25%)
I believe that Kessler clearly won 8 rounds.
Not a flame thread at all.
If you think Froch won, I'd like to hear your argument for him winning 7 rounds. I just simply couldn't find more than 4 to give him.
But in a neutral location I could see a draw or 7-5 for Froch.
Froch landed the cleaner, harder punches imo, but Kessler did the more consistent work and showed a helluva chin.
Some of those shots Froch landed would've dropped a lesser man.
I got no beef w/ a 7-5 Kess win though. Both men fought a great fight and imo this was hands down the best fight of the Super 6 by far.
Round 12 was round of the year material..Comment

finally got a chance to score this fight. i ended up with a draw 114-114.
i had froch winning the early rounds with his jab and landing some big hooks and a couple right hands. kessler caught up in the middle rounds with some good body work while froch lowered his punch output. the last 3 rounds were really close but i gave kessler the last 2 rounds.Comment

I had it 116-112 for Kessler. Those close rounds were haaaard hard to score, but i thought with Kessler being the busier guy and neither of them landing anything significant that he had earned those rounds.Comment

Don't know what too tell you I thought Froch clearly won 8 rounds with clean punching, counters, and just touching him with that jab all night.Hey guys,

Since when are the scoring criteria measured equally anyway? its all about clean punches really, defense on its own gets nothing from me in terms of scoring.Comment

Tell me which. I've watched the fight again and I have trouble finding a 5th to give him.
I thought Kessler was more active, moved better, and landed more frequentlyComment

I don't remember exactly which ones I just remember at the time having Froch up 116-112 and thinking he should have gotten the nod but several rounds were close so no robbery here even though I disagree with Kessler winning.Comment

Anyone with a score card reading 8-4 should be shot. That's one point away from Tilleman who was paid to score it for Kessler.Comment
