Kessler can still beat the best at 168.

    AA, Green and Froch

Dirrell, and Ward will always give him problems.

    There just bad style match-ups.

He can beat or compete with the elite.

Kessleer is still an elite fighter.

The Hate Giver will never be an elite poster.

    True story.

Kessler was barely elite. There's a reason why he never sniffed p4p top 10. Bute, calzaghe even if he came out of retirement, abraham, froch who was robbed, dirrell, ward, all beat kessler.

Im so prime you can call me kevin durant.

There's a reason why everytime he fights a elite fighter outside of denmark he loses.

He's not overtly physical, he's not offensively dynamic, his reflexes are average, & his power is above average. He is what he is. A very good fighter below Hall of Fame level.

Any elite fighter will beat him outside of denmark. Lucian Bute, Andre Ward, Andre Dirrel, Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch, hell i think Edison Miranda might beat him because of his power.

All that being said, i have lot of repsect for mikkell kessler for the simple fact that he just didnt stay in his home country & retire with a undefeated record but decided to test himself against the best the world has to offer unlike a sven ottke, henry maske, & a anthony mundine.

        btw,

i love danish pastry & danish women especially connie nielsen.

        Nothing pelsonal. Just hate.
I agree 100% with everything you said. He's a good fighter but not great and will get beat by most of the guys at the top. That's why when he fought even a semi-great fighter in Calzaghe he got absolutely dominated and owned.

sounds like sour g****s to me The Hate Giver.
sure, anywhere else in the world froch would of gotten the decision.
but it was close enough to go either way. i had it froch 115-113.

and unbeknownced to many there was talk by some boxing scribes
that kess was thinking about dropping out of tourney if he loss this one. to persue bigger money fights where he had a chance.

you see kessler could lead a very comfortable life always fighting at home against second tier euros. he's like the god thor over thier. so i'm happy he now has a reason to stick with tourney.

and man was i wrong. i was leaning towards the outlook that kess was mentaly beat.
after his disasterous loss to cal he's been put up against all second tier euros and after his embarassing loss to ward i just thought he better stick to his homeland where he could be treated like a god.
but kess is back...mentaly. still think ward rematch or dirrell gives him unsurmountable problems...anywhere but in kessland.

He was on boxingscene's p4p list before Calzaghe.

Guess what? You are terrible. Give me the elite SMW's in 2005-2007.

Cliff Rold who does boxingscene's rankings is a member of the board who does the Ring rankings so please come up with some arguments that makes sense or STFU.

Mikkel Kessler fought Anthony Mundine in Australia. Mundine is not what I consider elite...he got sparked out against Sven Ottke, lost to Manny Siaca, and Mikkel Kessler, then hasn't fought a world class fighter since.
He got put on his butt by a catfish named Crazy Kim! lol

Kessler is still very basic and that's what hurts him most. If he would have mixed in uppercuts and lead with more right hands and left hooks then the fight would have been more onesided.

Guys like Dirrell and Ward have a field day with fighters who throw 1-2, 1-2, 1-2-3.
