... or so it seemed to me
Cotto outweighed Abdulaev by 20 pounds

I thought Cotto looked to be about 149/150. He wasn't that much bigger than Abdullaev and certainly not 20 pounds. He looked nowhere close to 157 like he was for Corley. If he were that heavy than he wouldn't have been able to sustain that great footwork.
Abbie looked around 144 and Cotto 149 imo... -

I totally agree, he looked a lot slimmer than when he fought Corley.Originally posted by oldgringoI thought Cotto looked to be about 149/150. When he fought Corley, Cotto ballooned up to 157 because he wanted to fight fire with fire to impress the crowd in Puerto Rico. This time with Abdullaev, Cotto had patience and a game plan besides knocking him out. I thought he weighed perfectly tonight, around 147-150.Comment

great footwork?? lol, yeah but he didnt seem as big as when he fought ChOp Chop at the weigh in. In the ring i couldnt really tell the difference between his last fight. But if they didnt weigh him tonight he probably was really up there. Last time he fought everyone mentioned the weight difference between him and Corley, they praobly tried to hide it this time, since hes HBO's newest kidComment

Yes his footwork was excellent...he moved very well side to side to throw the pressure fighter off and away from Abbies right hand. He used his feet well to manipulate Abbie for bodyshots as well and reset well after throwing combinations. All signs of excellent footwork...and he kept it up for 8 1/2 rounds. Did you not see this or what?Comment

Cotto did his best work when moving..but when stood still..Abdullaev.was hitting him with good shots...if he was better adapt to hit while moving..he would of given Cotto much more trouble...Mayweather..would..give Cotto fitsComment
