By contrast, I don't believe a single boxing writer has scored the Froch-Kessler fight to Froch. Even the biased UK press all scored it to Kessler, and they almost all scored the Froch-Dirrell fight to Froch.Last edited by Dave Rado; 04-25-2010, 06:16 PM.

What is so impressive about Bute beating Andrade? The guy is tailor made for him and had already been shut out 12-0 by Kessler.
What is so impressive about Bute beating William Joppy or Edison Miranda, two guys who were making a career getting knocked out as 160lb'ers?
I give credit to Bute because it was genius on his part to stay out of the Super 6 and beat up a punch of hopeless tailor made opponents while building hype. He can fight a line of cripples knowing that when the Super 6 is over he can command 5-10 million dollars to fight the winner without ever taking the risk that the Super 6 guys did.
He has HBO so far up his butt that they will probably try to feed him Pavlik, another guy who has been beaten at 160 and is tailor made for Bute.
Until Bute beats someone who actually knows how to box and doesn't just march forward catching punches with their face I will remain skeptical.
get your facts straight
of course the guys in the tournament are fighting better competition, the best SMW aside of Bute are all in the ****ing tournament, what can Bute do about that ?
but the real question is who have all the guys in the tourament beat prior to the tourament ?
Kessler : Mundine, Beyer, Lucas, Andrade, and a lot of bums
Ward : Miranda (now everybody is on his **** because of one good win)
Dirrell : Hanshaw, Ouganov, Stevens (bums)
AA : Miranda, and a lot of bums
Froch : Pascal, Taylor, shot to death Reid
Green : nobody
Only one man had a better resume than Bute prior to the tournament, and that is Kessler

If there was an agreement that the fight be in the U.K., Abraham should stick to it. I don't blame Froch for wanting to fight at home and not go to Germany, where winning a decision would be difficult. But the location doesn't matter. Abraham kicks his ass

you know why ?
because unlike almost all the idiots out there who shout ROBBERY even without watching and analyzing what happened, I took the time to do it
and Bute would have beaten a real 10 count, he was up at 8 of a real count, max 9, if there was controversy in that fight, it's only because that ****** ref was trying to buy time for Bute, which time Bute didn't need to beat a real count
Bute won fair and square, 2-0 over Andrade
**** Marlon B. Wright and **** BattlingNelson too, I have already owned this guy in another thread where he was saying Kessler didn't make up excuses after his ass whooping at the hands of JC, which was not true, and I proved it with evidence

Originally posted by Dave Rado View PostHe was approached, but he was not formally invited, because of the fact that he wanted to rematch Andrade on HBO after the date the tournament was due to start. So he did choose not to be part of it, although one could argue that his reason for making that choice was justifiable.
provide a link, or it didn't happen

Wow, I've heard of arrogance, but you take the biscuit!
you'll see for yourself
as I have already said, the ref created the controversy that led to people calling it a robbery
I'm not alone thinking what I have stated
