    Carl Froch - Respect.

Carl should also get credit, but not exclusively. It's no secret he cant box, where he gets respect is due to his warrior-like mentality, his 'never give up' attitude. He always keeps himself in immaculate shape year round. For this i respect him immensely, he might not possess the God given gift of boxing, but he excels at the element where a man works as hard as he possibly, possibly can to be the very best that he can be.

I think we can all agree there are too many boxers who don't have such a fantastic attitude towards the job in hand.

He always keeps digging in relentlessly and trying to go for that wild KO, which is highly admirable. Regardless of his technical and stylistic shortcomings (of which there are too many to mention), he is a true warrior at heart. Not that it matters to him - he's done his job - but he earned my respect last night.

Ginsters pasties suck, btw. I avoid those like the plague. Wall's are brilliant, though.

If you don't like Carlos Frochos you're mentally deficent.

Carl Froch is like a brain surgeon who performs surgery daily despite only having read a leaflet on how to perform brain surgery.

How can you not admire a man who just puts his foot to the pedal and goes for it?

He's got to the very, very, top of his sport.

And when all has been said and done he's faced the best competition of any British fighter of the last decade - consecutively!

You must've forgot about Hatton fighting 2 pound-for-pound greats, and Paulie Malignaggi, in the space of 4 fights.

I do respect Froch immensely tho, he gave one hell of a fight last night, it was a true battle til the final bell. I expect Froch-Abraham to be a war of attrition

Exactly! This man deserves respect, his mentality and his way of utilizing his set of skills to the maximum. As you wrote, he doesn't have the divine boxing skill set, although the ones he do posses, he absolutely makes the best of out them. He never fails to entertain and he's still a champion in my eyes.
Respect to you Carl Froch, for being an entertaining and well prepared fighter / warrior.

Yer, I assumed he meant 'face the best competition and didn't get KTFO in embarrassing fashion'.

Froch is the best British fighter in the last ten years outside of Calzaghe and Lewis. And he's only had 27 fights.
