First things first. STFU! You and everyone else who thinks Paq ducked SSM is a goddamn idiot. Period. Ok, lets go through this again. Paq's camp was already discussing who his next fight would be BEFORE he fought Hatton. That is right, while still in training camp for Hatton, Cotto was already named as Paq's next fight after the Hatton fight. It was already basically known that Cotto would fight Paq after Hatton. Are you still with me? The Cotto fight was easy to make because Paq and Cotto have the same promoter. After the Hatton fight the ONLY issue was weight, this was to be Paq's first fight against a top welterweight (no, DLH was not a top welterweight at the time), so they wanted a catchweight. Paq's camp wanted the fight at 143, Cotto's camp refused to come in below 145, rightfully so. In the short amount of time it took for the two sides to agree to 145, SSM came out and said he would drop to 140 to fight Paq IF THE COTTO FIGHT FELL THROUGH. He was trying to get his foot in the door, no problem with that. But again, the fight with Cotto was already made, Paq didnt duck anyone. BTW, if Paq had agreed to fight SSM at 140 SSM would be retired now instead of fighting Mayweather. Paq vs SSM at 147 would be very competitive. According to you idiots (Paq-haters), he has recently ducked Mayweather, SSM, Yuri Foreman, JMM....wtf do you morons think he should do, fight them all at once?

we can only go by what freddie roach said. he admitted to turning down shane twice! and said basically his fighter had no chance vs shane. you can get mad all you want but roach said they wanted no part of shane.

Very true my dude and it's very unfortunate that the people feeding the information are prejudice. Real talk is Floyd knows this and has a chip on his shoulders because of it. No it's not an excuse for ignorance but we're not the ones having to deal with it like he does. There's definitely something wrong when you say a fighter that has been KO'd, soundly defeated and refused to avenge controversial fight outcomes is the Fighter of the decade over a fighter that has never loss and defeated every top fighter he has faced. With a win over Shane that will be wins over 2 current top 5 P4P fighters. If I was Floyd I would have a serious problem with that also. Unfortunately I do get a feeling of racial divisiveness from some of the posters here. I firmly believe that Floyd would be more celebrated if he wasn't African American.

very true, i see other fighters talk trash all day and people say "he is really confident in his abilities" when floyd talks he should just be quiet. to me its the old know your place thing. i stopped buying ring magazine because they are so biased. anybody that saw the oscar vs strum fight knows that oscar lost that fight. everybody but ring. ring lost credibility with me when oscar bought the magazine. how can they be unbiased. how can thet write anything critical of oscar without fear of getting fired.

Floyd does not have all the money he says he has. The guys who have the Dough dont brag about it, money mayweather came back frolm retirement to make more money, but his pockets are not as big as Oscar De La Hoya's. As for arrogance, Mayweathers arrogance is trashy @ best. Oh, and its obvious that He is GAy, and leonard ellerbe is Gay too. These guys are way too fruity.

I think you make a good point regarding the commentary during the Mayweather - DeLaHoya fight in terms of the HBO crew absolutely refusing to acknowlege what they (and the rest of the world) were seeing with their own eyes. I think the HBO guys have a deep down dislike for Floyd and the segment of young America he represents. As far as "the race card" being invented by white people, you're stetching things just a bit. The race card is a fall back position by anyone (white, black, brown, yellow...etc..) when they have no facts to back up a position or self-percieved injustice they believe is happening to them. Whites don't have a monopoly on ignorance or "professional victim status"...racism is the last bastion of the uninformed and ignorant. What it really is is PURE OPPORTUNISM. I feel your arguement, but to contend the point would be futile since I can't compete with your emotions. My wife and I travel internationally every year, and if you think racism is an American condition, you're sadly mistaken my friend. Try being a *** in Poland, black in Russia, or Irish in London. How about being *****e in Cairo does the phrase "Sons of pigs and monkeys" mean anything to you. America is still the last, best hope on earth my friend.

Cause any real boxing person knows you don't get KO'd at 106, move to 130 and have a 50% KO ratio, then move to 147 and have a 90% KO ratio and just so happen to refuse random testing and turn down the biggest fight in boxing history. Impossible without some kinda PED. It's never been done and never will be without it. If Manny is clean so is Barry Bonds. GTFOH with that BS.

yo sugar ive been saying this for quite some time now. show me any fighter that has moved up multiple wt classes and kept his power. the opposite is true. when a fighter moves up several classes he will lose power. look at shane or oscar or any fighter. move up multiple classes= a decrease in ko rate. to see pac move up and get stronger defies logic and history.

You just hope people that this is not a rigged one (to pave for a bigger Floyd - Manny fight) , or at least a better one than the Floyd - Marquez fight. Floyd had victimized me with that Marquez fight (could have given that money to tha charity). It's gonna be my first and last though.
