Very true my dude and it's very unfortunate that the people feeding the information are prejudice. Real talk is Floyd knows this and has a chip on his shoulders because of it. No it's not an excuse for ignorance but we're not the ones having to deal with it like he does. There's definitely something wrong when you say a fighter that has been KO'd, soundly defeated and refused to avenge controversial fight outcomes is the Fighter of the decade over a fighter that has never loss and defeated every top fighter he has faced. With a win over Shane that will be wins over 2 current top 5 P4P fighters. If I was Floyd I would have a serious problem with that also. Unfortunately I do get a feeling of racial divisiveness from some of the posters here. I firmly believe that Floyd would be more celebrated if he wasn't African American.

I can't think of any fights that would give Mayweather Jr. the prestige of the honor of Fighter of the Decade.

Maybe running from him for many rounds would win the honor, oh yeah I forgot the check hook, yeah the check hook, hmmm lets see it was probably the blown up featherweight Juan M. Marquez, blown up to 144 then got cheated out of the weight by two critical pounds that was appointed beforehand in the mind of the Mayweathers. That trick is the over the top move that should have given Jr. the top honors of winning the fighter of the decade.

Truth is he shouldn't cry about legacy or honors he fights for money, so what the hey?

Really ? If he had wanted the honors he could have fought Mosley already, Cotto just after the Hatton fight. He should have made the 8 million with Margo and whupped him. He could have beaten Cintron, he should have knocked out Oscar, whipped Berto and the man from Ghana, he should not have tried to make the fight with Pacman so fast with a bluff cause when Manny called his bluff he did everything a chicken would do to get out of the fight. All this steriod stuff is nothing but things chickens do.

I suppose there is an honor for the one with the mosts skills yet won't use them, but waste them. Its like have a great bird dog and not hunt him. ITs like being the fastest runner but never entering in world class races.

Did you ever notice that when Tyson didn't get his way in the ring with his bombs he put his hands to his face and didn't come in the same? Put he and Ali in the same ring like the Ali of 1964 and Tyson at his best, and we might have seen another Liston Ali fight. Is there any other reason a fighter with GREAT talents and skills the best with great health will not face the best out there but yet brag and boast, and vilely speak about his fellow fighter like he is the worst thing on earth ?

Floyd just intensifying his verbal attacks against Mosley to heat him up in turning him to brawl and that's what Floyd wanted to set up, so that in the ring, Floyd would just deliver the finishing touch! Well. well... I hope SSM would not be affected by these trash talks to avoid falling from Floyd traps!
