Antonio Tarver is a better TV boxing commentator/analyst than Al Bernstein

I watched the Showtime version of Kessler-Froch and found Al Bernstein to be more biased in favor of Carl Froch than the two UK commentators this afternoon. Hard to believe such an experienced "expert" analyst would actually score the fight for Froch.

But admirably, Antonio Tarver not only more observant, he was fair and objective about both fighters in his comments throughout the fight, and correctly scored it for Kessler.

I hope old Bernstein retires soon and Antonio becomes his permanent replacement.

Al Bernstein is part british blood like me, that is why he is biased. Al likes to nuthug on his own blood lines.

it was a close fight even though I had it for kessler. it not inconceivable that someone would have froch winning imho

But Bernstein was not being fair and objective in his comments, his words clearly revealed he likes Froch and dislikes Kessler.

It was nice to hear Antonio Tarver rise above Bernstein's biases and call it like it was.

So you base your opinion of someone's skills on whether they favor the Eastern European .

The guy is actually one of my favourites.

Al Bernstein has been analyzing boxing since the early 80s. He's one of the best commentators.

Its quite clear you made this thread & formed this opinion because tarver said he thought kessler won.

You are too obvious & predictable tunney.

                    Froch won that fight btw.
