It could have gone either way, but I had Kessler winning 7 rounds. There were a lot of close rounds.

Well tbh I had Kessler winning - by 1/2 rounds - but I was watching with Kessler tinted glasses. Ironically I think Froch landed the more meaningful, crisper punches as the fight went on but Kessler landed more overall punches.

Several times Froch proper wobbled Kessler too. He should have capitalised on those banked shots when he needed to and the outcome woulda been different so overall based on workrate I think you gotta give it to Kessler; moreson because he was the one consistenly pressuring too.

i dont like carl froch because of the over reactionary brits & quickly labeling any fighter they have that wins a fight as G.O.A.T, but carl froch won that fight. look at kessler's face & look at froch.

froch landed the harder, cleaner punches.

Look at the end of the fight. Look at all of kesslers promoters celebrating. Its as if they knew the scorecards already. How could they celebrate like that with such a close fight?

They were celebrating because they knew they did win the fight and they all knew who had won the fight. If it had been the other way around, you would have seen Froch's team celebrating just the same but they all knew that they didn't do enough to win. You even heard Froch asking afterward "Did I win it?" to McCracken. That's never a sign of someone who feels like they won.

This is a classic case of a close fight in which one guy did win the fight clearly. Like I said, close but clear victory. The whole face thing doesn't mean **** either. Some fighters' face busts up easier than others and Froch didn't exactly look pretty afterward either with that big cut on his nose, eye and the lump under the other one. We don't even knew whether it camr from a punch or butt either. Apart from that cut, Kessler actually looked better overall. That means he won right?

Anyway, quit your whining. The right guy won and though the 117/111 was too wide, the other scores of 116/112 and 115/113 were right. Don't forget, it's only one close round that could have gone either way which would change 115/113 to 116/112 and there were enough close rounds for that to happen.

I thought 115/113 was the perfect score but 116/112 is fine too. However, Froch winning the fight? No.

Or should it read "Beware of Nottingham"? This was as clear a win for Kessler as the other was for Dirrell. The only guy screwed so far has been someone from the US in England.
