    Froch 115 - Kessler 113.

Great fight could of gone eitherway but to the people saying "Froch was fighting in Kesslers backyard he should of done more" I say, Froch was the champion coming into this fight, to take a champions belt away from him you have to do more than what Kessler did tonight.

Had this been in England or USA, I think Froch gets the nod. It was a fantastic fight though and I think it was Tarver who said "No chess match here" yeah take the hint Dirrell.

I have been discussing many things on this forum.

        However, nuthuggers get no love.

Actually, Shattered isn't too bad. But Slim is a right ****.

I wasn't aware of his presence in the thread.

I'm very upset about this. It was a close fight that I think could have been a draw or a 115-113 to Kessler from what I could tell on my steam. Tillerman obviously was paid well by a German promoter again...

Froch got too confident early and just took rounds 6-9 off I think. Early on he was really bothering Kessler who I don't think landed a half decent shot for the first 4 rounds. He came back strong but sadly it was too little too late especially being away from home. I was going mental when Kessler went down... (although on replay he blocked the shots and seem to just fall over)

I'm going to cry into my pillow now.

Rewatched rounds 4-11. Froch definitely took 4,5,10,11 I think.
Kessler took some others in there for sure as well.
              He has himself to blame.

Chin of iron, but honestly, Kessler has the perfect style to beat Froch, and was physically capable of dealing with his size.

Heck Kessler showed a lot of heart with that huge cut.

Froch is the kind of fighter, I think, who . . . once he gets over the initial disappointment . . . will see his first loss as a necessary in getting his hands dirty in the sport, part of his development and learning process . . . and will relish and revel in the task of bouncing back from it.

That redemptive aspect of boxing, that warrior romance, I think appeals a lot to Froch's own sensibilities re. his view of the sport.

The only problem is, his next assignment is his most dangerous to date IMO.
