PS - I just saw your sig, I didn't know ... I've looked up the threads about it now, and it's very sad news. Samurai was my favourite poster, not so much because of what he said about boxing, but because he was such a big-hearted person.

I had Kessler winning a close but clear decision. I was impressed by Kessler's heart, but I wasn't too impressed by much else. At times he threw a lot of combinations that hit nothing but arms and back. Kessler landed the bigger shots though and generally controlled the rounds. Froch needed to fight at a higher tempo to claim the decision, as he looked to be getting the better of the wilder exchanges. Great fight with the right decision. I can't see Kessler getting revenge over Ward or beating Dirrell though.

Just rewatched many of the rounds. I'll rewatch it all at some point. This is a very close fight. The 116-112 and 117-111 cards are too wide IMO.

That Williams Martinez card probably has a case for the worst in boxing history.

Anyone could see Martinez blasted Williams for the first 4 rounds.

I had it 116-112 for Kessler. Close rounds, good fight with a great ending.

This is the end of the line for Froch.

AA will brutally knock him out into early retirement!!
froch definitely is gonna need better defense against AA

I had it 116-112 Kessler, it was close.

I don't think it was a FOTY candidate thought. It was a jab fest that got sloppy, TBH.

I think that Froch won the fight by a slight margin. Outjabbed Kessler and landed more power punches from what I saw with more power on top of it except for that one round of where Kessler hurt Froch. It was a close fight, but I think people are being too hard on Froch. I think Froch will beat Abraham too. Kessler and Froch both can.

It was a good fight but both fighters suck neither one will win the tournament no skills at all just wild brawling I thought Kessler was better than that Ward or Dirrell got this easy
