I actually thought Froch fought on even terms with Kessler for most of the fight. There were stretches where he was getting pecked at with jabs though, and you have to score those. Kessler also had better body punching.

More impressive than he was aainst Taylor and Dirrell.

I agree especially in the early rounds. Kessler started outboxing him in the middle rounds though.

Froch showed he could box and his jab is actually pretty decent.

If Froch-Kessler had been held in the UK, the same three judges would have been used and they'd have produced the same scores. The hometown excuse is just crybaby sour g****s.
So, why do you think Froch himself believes he would have won at home then?

Don't be a *****, Froch. It was a close fight and you didn't get the decision. Don't make excuses.

what a right c*nt froch is. i thought it was a clear decision for kessler. some brit nuts are claiming he landed the cleaner more effective punches. and to them i say...I AGREE. but the problem is while frochs bombs were more dramatic, they came one at a time and obviously didnt slow kessler's aggression. in the middle rounds i thought froch would put his foot on the gas pedal but it didn't happen. i thought froch was winning when he had kessler on moving back. where was the pressure? i think froch is fully capable of beating kessler, maybe the body punches were taking their toll. i dont know. but kessler won this fight. no doubt.

Froch to Kessler, Kessler to Ward, Dirrell to Froch, Abraham to Dirrell, Taylor to Abraham which makes me think why does Ward get to have all his fights at home. All the fights should be held somewhere neutral like MSG & I know that would mean tickets could be hard to sell but it would make it fair for everyone & stop any complaints.
that is interesting. don't forget that dirrell-abraham was supposed to be held in california until dirrell's back injury set it back. why it wasnt just kept in california i have no idea. it definitely would have sold more than that empty michigan arena.

Apart from Froch-Dirrell, none of the results were at all controversial - and even in the case of the Dirrell-Froch fight, almost every boxing writer said it was close, and no close fight can ever be called a robbery. So that's just co-incidence. The judges and referees have all been from neutral countries, so all the "hometown" claims are just crybaby sour g****s.

It's just sour g****s. He also believes he deserved to win, which is clearly rubbish. Even the UK press all scored it to Kessler, and they are normally as biased as hell (they all scored the Froch-Dirrell fight to Froch).

If Dirrell fought in his hometown against Froch he would have won too. Easily. Froch might have been DQ'ed. Easily.

LIKE I Have been saying from the start, Froch WONT win another fight in the super six.
