I don't understand. Why are there so few Sugar Shane Mosley fans?

Shane is exciting to watch. He has got speed, power and a come forward style. On top of that he is good looking [no h*mo] and he has beaten superstar De La Hoya. So why does this certified Hall Of Famer have such a small fanbase?
