No because Manny dominated them to the point of them not even thinking about fighting again....let alone a rematch. DLH thought he won the fight (whether you agree or not) and Hatton thought if a few things went different he could have won (referee joe cortez). Whether you agree or not, they had enough confidence to want a rematch.

Can you honestly say they had the same confidence to want to fight Manny again? What about the same line of thinking that they could have won against Manny?

Aside from the ODLH win, which other one on Floyds resume is better?

I give him credit for that, ODLH was in good shape, 33. And was a bit of a challenge for the #1 P4P at the time who was at the peak of his game.

But Cotto is a legit fighter, possibly HOF. Aside from Marg cheating him out of a fight he clearly would have won otherwise, he wouldn't have a loss to anyone except Manny.

Who does Floyd have? Hatton, Diego Corrales, Carlos Boldimir, JMM at 35 and 2 weight classes above his natural weight, and on and on.

Cotto is better than every fighter Floyd has yet faced with the possible exception of ODLH. Cotto was better than the man he is about to fight, Shane Mosely, because he beat Shane Mosely.

Cotto shot? He beat Josh Clottey just in the fight before. Josh Clottey if also an elite fighter at 147, if you haven't seen that, you are just denying, denying, denying.

That version of Oscar wouldn't have beaten any of the above. Cotto would have beat him and by him running from Marg..that alone tells you all you need to know about Oscar's confidence against Tony. As for Manny, he would have crushed that version of Oscar as well...wouldn't have been as dominate but he still would have beat him decisively.

ODLH at 33 would have beat possibly Marg, on points. Not Pac, or Cotto at that point of their careers. That would be before Marg took Cotto down a notch.

When Floyd beat Castillo, outside of two wins over Johnston (which very controversial btw) what other wins did Castillo have leading up to that

Cotto on the other hand beat guys like Quintana, Malignaggi, Bailey, Corley,
