i think pac is the better fighter at this point....he would cause floyd more problems. i will be surprize if shane wins more than 4 rounds against floyd. having said that i'd still pick mayweather to beat pac.

You just need to think about it, think about it in a fair state of mine and you will know how many leagues above pac is than mosley. I am starting to think you hate pac for the beat down he gave to cotto.
Being fair Pac never fought animals like mosley did No?Pacs biggest wins came at catch weights(Meaning big guys drainong them selfs No?I think right now pac is the top fighter but that don't mean he is better.Mosley has a fighting style Pac has never seen as well Mosley has never fought some body like pac.But Mosley size I think will be the difference and the way he uses it.

I dont think that a person that throws a lot of punches per round much more in continuos combinations is good for a fighter who depends on counter punching. Now a fighters that throws one-two and then a power punch is better for a counter puncher. So it's better for floyd to fight Mosley than Pac.

I wouldn't disagree with those who say Manny has improved since the Marquez fight. At the same time you have to correctly measure that improvment because since the Marquez fight Manny has not fought anyone with that style. That style is the style that Freddie Roach said Manny will always have problems with.

Even tho I hear you guys, I really don't believe any of you.

Floyd is suppose to be in the biggest fight of his career, and guess who him and his fans are fixated on?

For Shane to be a tougher fight, it sure doens't seem like it listening to the interviews and talk of NSB.

LMAO, actually PAC and Shane have similar characteristics, and that includes the herky jerky movement you're referring to. Even Mayweather Sr mentioned it on a recent interview.

Anyway, to the thread question. Awhile back, I would answered Shane as being the tougher fight, but, having watched Shane as of late compared to what PAC is now, I'd say PAC is the tougher fight.

Shane and PAC, both have the same weakness and that's counter-punchers.

                Speed dept: Hands down, PAC

Chin: Slight edge goes to Shane

Skill level: Slight edge to PAC

                Power: Shane

Defense: PAC, remember, we ain't talkin' about the old Shane(who never really had great defense to begin with, had great reflexes, yes)

                Punch accuracy: PAC

                Stamina: PAC

                Intangibles: PAC

Shane got outboxed twice by Vernon Forrest and twice by Winky Wright.

Stop making it sound like he was outboxed by two bums.

I'd sure as hell bet on Vernon outboxing Pacquiao for a UD win, and slightly edging Mayweather in a boxing match

Floyd is smarter than both of them so what they do best physically wont matter. In the end both are easy fights.

I used to think that but i no longer do. Pac will be Mayweathers greatest challenge and has a great shot at beating him. The thing that you have to realize is that skills is not whats going to beat Floyd. He is the most skilled boxer in the sport all around. Its going to take a person with an awkward style that can impose their will on him to beat him. If you go back to the Castillo 1 fight, the reason why Floyd had so much problems wasn't because Castillo was more skilled than him and contrary to what most think wasn't because of pressure. It was more because Castillo imposed himself on Floy'd and made it a grinding fight instead of just a boxing fight. By the time Floyd figured out an effective way of fighting that fight, the fight was over. ( I can see where Floyd fans thought he won maybe 7 to 5 rounds and i Definitely can see where others would think Castillo won the fight. I personally scored it 6 rounds for each fighter but IF i had to pick a winner i would give to Castillo for that fight.)
I can see Pac being relentless enough to do that. I still think Floyd beats both Mosely and Pac, and i can see why he has chance to beat Mosley easily but that won't be the case with Pac. That will be his toughest test of all and i can see him losing that fight. Not to mention there's no way Mosley gets a decision over Floyd on the other hand i can see Pac getting one due to being the more aggressive fighter.
