but pac was present at cotto/clottey at the behest of arum, clearly an indication that that was the fight that was gonna be made.

Arum made those plans it seems not too long after pac beat hatton.

The fight that should have been made was against Mosley and everyone in boxing knew it.Cotto got another home cook meal vs Clottey.Roach and Arum knew Mosley was a dangerous fight and Pac is the cash cow you do the math.

No. Pac brings greater speed than Floyd has, which is something new for him. Mosley's chance to win lies with his power, and Floyd's had plenty of guys try to KO him before. Shane is a live dog, but I give Pac a better chance.

Of course he would be tougher...for four rounds. Pacquiao would be a lot harder to adjust to because of his footwork.

Nope not at all. Mosly fought Tony in Jan. I believe they fought a little while after that and mosley was on it. Mosley actually jumped the gun, and was speaking about it in the press because he was so sure they were gonna sign and they flat out refused. True Talk..

You have to be a ****** to think shane is better than todays version of pac. Add the fact that Pacquiao is a southpaw.

Look what trainer of the year says about it:
These are Freddie Roach’s words that he reported to the La Times by way of Bill Dwyre. “Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny,” Roach says. “I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn’t enough money there, and second, you’re too good a fighter.”

I will tell you this straight up. As a Floyd fan, I am much more worried about this fight than the Pac fight due to the size & strength of Shane. Thats why I hope he made the right decision because I wouldve fought Pac 1st, even if I thought he was on the juice

Only an idiot would think so, no reasonable person would say yes. Pac is the pound for pound and has destroyed recent boxers, boxers that mayweather didnt dominate in such a comprehensive mannar compared to pac

why would anyone think mosley is a tougher fight for pac?

Pac is a better boxer, is quicker, has far better movement and just as good power. he is just better than mosley in every way
